Why do I suck?

I tried to cuteify my blog....and look what I've done! How do I get all my lists that used to be at the side but are now at the bottom back to the side?? HELP!

Festival of Trees

So my mother-in-law Jodie dedicated a tree to her son Michael at the Festival of Trees. My mother-in-law was the mastermind of it all....and let me help her! Might I say it turned out FABULOUS! Her theme she was shooting for was bird related...hence the tree being called "The wind beneath my wings" So we did lots of little bird houses all over it, little squirrels with birds, berries, pine cones, lots of sparklies, etc. Jodie let me do the honers of creating the topper for the tree....so I did a bird nest with of course a birdie and her eggs with sticks and sparklies and feathers.....might I say IT turned out FABULOUS! muhahaha just jokes! Next to the tree is a beautiful big birdhouse....Soooooooooo if you are going to the festival look for it in Aisle K!

ps. For all you Twilighters out there.....there is a 'Cullen Christmas' Tree....it is AWESOME! so keep your eyes peeled

A New Post?

Don't you all wet your pants now...this is a shocker...I'm actually posting something!!! Its just short and sweet so don't get to excited but I couldn't resist posting this pic of my adorable little guy....he just had his second birthday on sat. (which i will post pics later...I have to get them from my brother) and he got this adorable suit from his grandma ferguson....

Why do they grow up so fast?

Its official...as of yesterday my little man went number 2 in his own little potty!! We are so proud of the little guy! I wasn't planning on potty training him yet but he has been obsessed with the potty and us using the potty for a while that I decided to get him one and see if he was interested! Sure enough the first day he practically spent the day just chillen on it! So yesterday he told me he had to go...and sure enough he actually did! Yea for Michael!!! We have a long way to go before he's official but....

so I'm so out of the blogging loop if you haven't noticed....first off let me remind you all I do not have the internet at home hence the whole never bloggage..... secondly when I do blog I do it at my families and as of lately my Dad has become a crazy "anti let emily use the computer" hater....honestly he's gone as far as disconnecting the internet when I come over...he claims thats all I do when I come over...yaddy yaddy yadda....whatever! Anyways so here is my whole summer update....

8/16 Mommy's Birth
We picniced it up at the cemetery....it was pretty sweet except for the uninvited guests which seem to always spoil our picnics and the cemetery (blasted bee's)

8/20 My Birthday.... consisted of working.....bleh.....I don't recommend working on your birthday...and then Kev took me to dinner at Jonny Carino's (best place ever highly recommended) and then both are families came over for cake and ice cream and gift giving! It was pretty sweet....I was made fun of because I had Kev get me a Nintendo DS...but then everyone was fighting over my DS action....I think they were all jealous!

Ya I'm super behind on the posting.....do not fret....it will come! But I just saw this new feature and thought it was pretty sweet.....a new page element called blog list....as you see on the left.... you can put all your blogging pals in and then it tells you below when they last updated so you don't have to spend all your time clicking on everyone to see if they've updated! Anyways thought is was pretty sweet... thought I'd share!
ps. only problem with it is if your friends are set to private it won't work

One WiLd and CrAZy week!

our fun filled week.....

We go visit the Ellis G parents (Gmas bday)....enjoying a lovely visit....Michael runs around being a goof as usual.....playing with Uncle Unk....turns to run.....trips on shoe....bonks head on chair.... Mom (aka me) goes to pick up crying child thinking to self "here's another lovely bruise on this poor kids head".....picks up child....flips him over.....Mom (aka me again) freaks because there is a stream of blood coming from my little guys head (mind you....first time seeing blood coming from my child)..... runs to kitchen....grabs napkins.....stops bleeding....notices a hole in childs head.....And so it goes....my poor little munchkin had to get his first ("first of many" was what all the nurses kept telling me) stitches! A total of 7 stitches in his little head! What a horrible experience that was....its a long story....I won't bore you all with the details....but all I can say is we went up to Primary childrens and lets just hope that we didn't come home worse off ! Honestly there was children everywhere....puking....rashes....hacking away....burning up with fever...broken bones......it was awful! Anyways I just kept thinking we were going to end up coming home with some nasty illness.....but....so far so good....this all took place on tuesday and we are all alive and well! ps. horrible to watch child scream and cry and yell ma ma the whole time he's getting stitched up....I wouldn't recommend it!

2nd story of the week....

So Kami hair? Heard of it? Hair salon across the street from what used to be Cottonwood Mall.... anyways my cute little sister has been working there as receptionist for I think about 2 years! I get a call on friday from my sister (who is supposed to be working) telling me to come pick her up.....I was all What? aren't you working?......that when she goes on to tell me that they had just gotten robbed! Mind you....my sister is the RECEPTIONIST.....as in if Salon gets robbed that means she's the source to get the money! AHHHHH! Turns out two men came in.... Erica was busy rescheduling a client.....man leans over counter and says this is a robbery give me all the money.....Erica hands over all the money she has in the till.....which is a whooping $130.....robber demands more....Erica says there is no more.....he flashes her a gun......she says that there is no more and shows him there is no money in the other drawers in the desk! The other robber man is going through the clients purse that was resheduling...she had no dough on her.... one other client up front not knowing what was going on and looking the other way got hit in back of head by robber for no reason! Anyways then they took off.....with there whooping $130 dollars! Now my poor sister has been tramatized for life because of these dirty rotten buttheads....scary huh?

I just finished reading this and let me tell you....it was amazing! I absolutely loved it! Her books are so fabulous! I can't wait till next friday when I will be going to her discussion and book signing at thanksgiving point! YEA! All I have to say is she better have lots more books to come because ever since I read the twilight series I haven't found any books or authors out there that I'm nearly as big as a fan of! Awesome Awesome Awesome!

In Loving Memory!

Today was the four year anniversary of the passing of my dear mother! She means the world to me and I miss her like crazy! Love ya mom!

BoOk AdDiCt!

Ok so I'm trying out something new here.....I have a problem with books.....I LOVE THEM! And I get obsessed.....even if the book isn't the greatest I can't put it down till I'm done.....and then when it is good....its even worse....I will stay up at night, I get nothing done around the house, I deprive my husband and child! Kev very well may have to put a gun to my head to get me to stop reading at times! Anyways my point being I don't want to give up my love of reading...soooooo......I have found a solution...... I have found through the library you can download books to your mp3 player (SCORE!) so I'm trying it out....I just figured it out and got my first book downloaded! YEAH! I figure this is a way to get off my buttocks and get stuff done and still be able to enjoy a lovely read! We'll see how this goes!

ps. I need something good to read.... something fabulous....any good reads anyone wants to share would be muchly appreciated!

I take it back!

In a previous post I bashed the Cullens family.....I deeply apologize for my harsh words! Those pictures that I posted did not do them justice at all! I AM A FAN! As of recently my sister joined us fellow twilight fans and lets just say she has become a little on the obsessed side! Which is a good thing because in her obsessing she has done a lot of internet searching and has found many sites with promos, pictures, and interviews .... which has shed some light on my feelings toward the Cullens! I now have a mad crush on Edward....and Jasper is just as yummy.... and Emmet.... what am I saying they all are fabulous! Anyways I take back all that was said before...it was wrong for me to judge and make such a harsh opinion on a couple of photos!
You ask "where will you and Erica be on December 12, 2008?"
I answer "At our local megaplex watching the soon to be best movie ever made!"

....the Colbie Caillat concert! It was freakin awesome! I absolutely love her voice she is amazing....if you haven't heard her you have got to check her out! Turn up your volume...I've dedicated my tunes list to her! I'm such a huge fan! I went to the concert with my brother Kenyon his girlfriend Caroline and my sister Erica (I call them wannabe fans! They weren't true blue fans like myself) Anyways it was fabulous...I got some excellent pictures and her voice was amazing live! Plus the concert was at the Tuachan and that amphitheater is so sweet...it was chilly but worth it!

Our Easter consisted of....
an easter egg hunt....Michael was the only participant....it was a funny sight about 8 adults following after him while he collected his eggs....that is what happens when your the only little one!

he found his grand prize....provided by his grandma!! Thanks grandma and cousin Tre for the fun easter egg hunt!

later we went with my fam to my mommys grave .... happy easter mom!

how sad is that....that is the only pic I got of all three of us on Easter and it is hideous.... i think I had the worst hair day ever....I really could have used an easter bonnet!

Michael went on a easter egg hunt to find his easter basket the bunny left him....it was hidden in the broom closet....and what did Michael go for when the closet was opened?.....you guess it he bypassed the basket and went straight for the broom! Once I showed him that there was dum dum suckers in his basket then he was interested....hence the handful of suckers and the rest the basket untouched!

Updates on my little Munchkin!

I love my little tyke....he just brightens my day!

*absolutely LOVES books!! He could read them all day long....over and over and over again! I have them all memorized! He's so cute to while reading them...he has actions for one and also has certain pages he loves more then others and gets so excited when he sees them! He also has an abc book and on the last page he look at me and points and goes eh eh.....and that is the signal that I have to sing the abc song to him while he dances!
* He loves dogs....chasing them, hanging on them, jumping on them, kissing them! To bad he'll never have one (Daddy's allergic)
* He does animal noises on command... he can do monkey, dog, lion, and kitty..... working on cow and horse....he can repeat them if I say them....but can't do on command yet!
*Loves vacuuming as previously posted....but has also added sweeping to the list! I hope he sticks with that.....highly unlikly!
*The other day grocety shopping I picked up bananas to put them in the cart and he goes "nana's"..... I was shocked.... first I didn't know he knew the word and certainly didn't know he would make the connection on seeing them.....I'm always shocked by how smart such a little human can be! They learn so fast!
*When you tell him to say something he just says one syllabul...... like grandma and grandpa is gaa.....ball is ba..... my sister erica is ca..... mom is mum.... dad is da da.... etc.
* When you tell him to go tickle someones feet he does and also goes "tickle tickle tickle" as he does it!
* Obsessed with chocolate....and treats!! Definetly doesn't get that from his mother!
* He has the sweatest head known to mankind.....Kev claims he got my armpit genes in his head!
*Hates to this day and always has getting his diaper changed....you would think after almost 16 months of it he would be over by now!
* Loves going outside.... problem is no matter how much area he has to roam he heads straight for the street!
* Out of no where one day I was talking to Kev and I said "love you" to him and when Michael heard that he blew a kiss....so to this day if you say "love you" he'll blow you a kiss! Once again don't know how he put love you and a kiss together....boggles my mind!
I'll post more later..... must go see what the little one is in to!

I don't know about you but I'm ubberly disappointed with there Edward pick....Isn't Edward supposed to be the most beautiful thing you ever layed eyes on?....maybe what I picture is not humanly possible! None of them suit my fancy so much.... I guess I'll just have to see them in action!
